My Pal, My Son is a little one, I know he won't stay this way. From diapers to blue jeans to who knows what, these years flash quickly away. He's too young to be left alone at night, too old to be tucked into bed. And he still wipes his mouth with the back of his hand, despite what his father has said. It's hard to know when to lead him, and when to leave him alone. We have so little time to show them the way, before they're off on their own.
